I'm changing over my dampers, springs and top mounts on the weekend. I was leafing through my service history and on the last service it says the N/S/F balljoint needs replacing can someone find me the links to
The e36/46 cab topmounts (the ones that are stronger than standard e30 ones') and for the correct balljoint I need. I know I ask a lot but there loads of damn balljoints on GSF and EuroCarParts.
Thx in advance

The balljoints can be replaced individually but are a proper b@stard to press in and out, I had 9 tons on one of mine before it exploded out of the arm.
I'd buy a complete bottom wishbone with the balljoints already in, GSF do 2 types buy the more expensive one of the two. You'll need a new rubber bush for it too.

Thank you guys ;)
Which top mount is better to use tho, I swear it was an e46 cab top mount.

The E46 cab top mounts are for the rear IIRC... not sure about the fronts...

Recently bought a drivers side wishbone with ball joint from GSF. Went for the better of the 2 available - closest to OE. The part number was B42046. Was about £40 or so inc postage. Note this was for an E30 not e36/e46.Templ8e30 wrote:The balljoints can be replaced individually but are a proper b@stard to press in and out, I had 9 tons on one of mine before it exploded out of the arm.
