Hmmm, i dunno really cos of the firewall. They do a lot of good for hatchbacks i know but not sure as the e30 must be pretty rigid at the back.

theyre bound to help in a touring, not sure if it'd feel noticably different on the road or if you'd only feel the benefit on the track :?

Just a bit interested as there is one on Ebay, Brand new, at a "buy it now" price of £79.99. Don't want to waste money if i'm not gonna feel any difference
Really should be saving the money toward's the ARB's but when something catches my eye other thing's get set back LOL

I have one on my e30, didn't think it would do anything but I was surprised at the difference it made. I reckon it made as much of an improvement as the front strut brace.

It made the rear end feel much more 'taught' and had more feel from the rear wheels.

Someone on here brought this up a while ago and another zoner said that he'd tied string tightly between the rear top mounts and went for a fast drive. Afterwards he checked the string and it had indeed snapped 8O

Well worthwhile in my opinion.

Cheers,

i doubt it, best to fit bars and braces at the same time for a transformation of the car literally!

See i dont think you can notice a difference! On the rear there is no spring pressure on the towers like there is on the front. The rear springs sit onto the chassis leg and the only the damper puts any load on the strut tower. I have noticed that on rusty/cars with opening rear windows braces do make a noticible difference to how a car behaves over bumps, but i could not really notice anything while cornering!

This was my theory but mine is a 4 door so i doubt it would make much difference with the strength of the door shut's anyway?
Buuuuuuuuttttt..............we personally may not feel it as we are not sat in the back and are also concentrating on getting round that corner rather than thinking......i wonder if that £90 sat between my tower's is actually doing anything

The wonder still goes on........................
