My dad just got a Nagora Silver 635 Motorsport and we're gonna change the existing TRX wheels cos their metric and cost a ton to replace.

Got two wheels in mind - both 18", both keeping to the bbs philosophy.

First - the BBS Split rims off the 850 (This is a common swap)

OR

Some nice big Rondell 58's

Whats the general consensus?

Apparently hes getting an M6 (hope he doesnt mind me saying this!) which seems like the only reason to get rid of a normal 635!

I have rondell 58's on my M3 but if money was no object i would have gone with some BBS style 5's with polished lips.

Rondells look sweet and are pretty cheap in comparison. Also they are much cheaper to get refurbed if need be as they are a 1 piece wheel.

Iv still voted for the BBS ones though 8)

Both look sweet but i'd go with the BBS!!!! Bit biased to all things 8 though!!!

Could try www.clube31.com forum (bit slow sometimes though).

If not, someone on the roadfly forum will be able to point you in the right direction!! http://bimmer.roadfly.com/bmw/forums/e31/

I havent seen any 18"ers any where - they just don't turn up.

Gonna go for 17" as its me dads car and he doesn't want anything to ott. 17" should just fill the arch nicly. A lot lot cheaper as well + straight fitment :D

i only commented on 18" as u said 18" in the first post.

make sure all the bushes are good, cos with 17's its gonna go thru them quicker anyways (known e24 thing) - more so if any are on the way out.

have u seen bigcoupe ? good site and forum dedicated to 6's.
