I recently changed plugs, distributer cap and rotor arm (which was in pieces).
There's still a slight jerk and hesitation on light throttle.
I'm pretty sure this is being caused by ht leads breaking down (which have already been replaced years ago with non genuine ones).
Question: if I change the ht leads do i really have to change the plugs again - they are pretty new the plugs?
cheers

No need to change the plugs, as long as thet have ones that the caps can be unscrewed from, as OE 6 pot leads just require the threaded top.

Cheers Brian I will get some genuine leads as soon as I can and the plugs do have the removable caps.
The existing leads were from GSF some 90 000 miles and 8 years ago and use the the threaded top of the plug too.
From what you've said before about the geniune leads these seem to be worth the expense (that I'm scared to even guess at) ... wonder how much they'll be...

Use ones from a scrapper. You'd be very unlucky to get a dud one.toby wrote:Cheers Brian I will get some genuine leads as soon as I can and the plugs do have the removable caps.
