I have a few dents on the car, they seem to be apearing all over the car lately (some jealous b*****ds).
Im just wondering what fellow zoners recommend?
I dont mind having a go removing them myself, problem is i dont have a clue on how its done. the other option is getting a professional in to do it , but i got a feeling its gonna put a hole in my pocket!!!
has anyone used this? any good?

TBH I'd never heard of it myself
But will let you know once i've used it, what it's like...I might end making the dents worse....

it looks to me like some stuff ive seen before in a vid, you clean the area where the dent is and then warm up a little stick until it goes gooey and stick it to the dent, once its cooled you whip it off quickly(guessing thats what the rope is for but they used a slide hammer in the vid i saw) and the dent is pulled with it.guess you need good paintwork or itll just pull the paint off.
i would prefer to use one of the mobile dent companies such as dent tech or dent devils as they are very good.use them at work sometimes (im a panel beater btw) and some of them are unbelievably good at their job

I finally got to Halfrauds this weekend and it went from bad to worse really...Firstly they didn't have the Dent Kit in stock and secondly it's not £9.99 it's £19.99Pal318is wrote:I never knew that you could this dent removal thingy 'me' jiggy from Halfrauds, but I think I might give it a go this weekend, as I have a few small dents from assholes who park to close..shall let you know what it's like....

Have used this kit from Halfrauds....suprise suprise.....its crap!!! It is used exactly as beardymat describes...only thing is it has a tendency to come flying off when you tug the rope....you end up lying on your arse and the dent stays put!!!!
Have also used dent-devils....absolutely superb....would thoroughly recommend....Get a free estimate from them....about £60 a panel when I had it done ,they'll do most things as long as teh paint isn't broken....

A bit off topic.. I have had problems with halfords stuff also. Their dash paint spray went white in places (it was a black spray), and their leather restorer is crap.
And having damaged my dash, centre consol and a lot of time, with their crap product, i didnt even get a refund.

Some of these companys have an initial call out fee then every extra dent is a tenner. My mate got 3 large dints out of his tpye-R for £55.....worth getting a quote!domross wrote:Have used this kit from Halfrauds....suprise suprise.....its crap!!!
