Hi to you all ....
I have recently converted my e30 316i to e30 318is.
Everything seems to be fine. The engine does not burn any oil or coolant.
But!!! it does something very weird
If i leave the car off for a night or so and try to start it in the morning it works fine. Then i drive it for a while (20 mins) and turn it off. If after 10 min or so i try to start it again it has bad idle rpms (500) and even if i floor tha gas pedal it goes slower than a yugo!!!! making a noise that sounds like its chocking.... and then all of a sudden and without any bang noises from the exhaust it runs like hell. Does anyone have any idea what that is????
E30 318is issues. HELP !!!!

I'd suggest the coolant temp sensor is US, and the care is running in cold start all the time.
Check the wiring and replace the sensor, wont be expensive.
Gotta start somewhere, and that would be my 1st port of call.
Welcome BTW
