i asked this a while back but didnt seem to get anywhere.im not sure if you can connect up the pipes after removing the pump and i dont know which one connects to which either,or if you have to replace the whole pipes from the servo.i believe its a different servo for cars with abs( different amount of pipes) although i might stand to be corrected by someone who actually knows what theyre talking about

AFAIK the servo/ MC is the same. Should be able to cut the RF and rear brakelines where they pass the servo, put new ends on them, and connect them to the MC.
If this is for a road car, you may have problems with the new MOT.
If the computer says your car has ABS, then the ABS warning light will have to work.

Under the new system he has to test what the computer tells him.
Why would you want to remove one of the biggest advances in car safety, anyway?

hi guys,
i've just done this on my race/track car (I wouldn't do it on a daily driver car).
Can someone give me some advice on the following?
I've got it all connected up and it works, just needs rebleeding but the problem is i'm now not sure which of the connections on the master cylinder should go to which axle.
Let's call the connections on the master cylinder "rear" (closest to bulkhead) and "front" (furthest from bulkhead).
As far as i can tell the brake lines are a front/rear split from the two connections on the master cylinder with the rears having a proportioning/pressure limiting valve in line.
Does the front master cylinder port feed the front brakes and the rear port feed the rears - or is it that the rear port feeds the front brakes and the front port the rears?
Can someone take a quick look at their car and let me know?
thanks in advance
richard

just thought i would bttt this one - i've done it and its all sorted on my car, brakes work fine in races no leaks.
the flexy hoses worked fine to join the brake pipes, it don't look pretty but does the job.
Passed an MOT with no probs.
Remember this is for a track car, i wouldn't recommend this for a daily driver.
