Hello all,

My front calipers are on their way out, and insted of replacing them with standards i would like to upgrade them?

Whats the easiest / best way to upgrade while sticking to standard 16"s?

Anyone been here before? what sorta price am i looking at?

Thanks for your time

without going the bbk route, the best setup for you is standard calipers, sport evolution disks, pagid blue pads, braided brake hoses, dot 5.1 fluid and change the caliper pins for brass ones. the caliper pins will allow the pad to be applied squarer to the disk.

this is the tried and tested route for m3 owners. If you do go bbk you will have to change your rims to 17" so that the bbk will fit.

trust me I've been down this road a couple of times already!!

cheers guys,

Eamo, that does sound a good road to take, as i`ll only be doing the odd track day here and there, won`t really need big big stopping power!

I was shown http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ , look interesting and tempting! any1 got info on these?

i think in terms of size the brembo setup fits under 16's however they need spacing as the calipers are pretty wide

someone has used 735i calipers and merc discs for 300mm setup which fits under standard wheels.. there is a bit of info on it in tech section, search for m5 brakes and its in a thread started by me
