hi there,

I own a E30 318i which is completely standard at the moment. I was wondering if the the standard m3 suspension fits straight to my own vehicle. if so, does it follow suit that i can transfer other parts such as rear differential and brakes, front and rear. my reasons for using stock m3 parts is im assuming they will be cheaper to fit over after market up grades.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

im not 100% on this but from what ive seen + heard the suspension would fit, i think you have only got to worry about whether its 4/6 cyls due to weight distro.
although id get some aftermarket units, like adjustable gas coilovers, they last ages and give a great ride, usually totaly adjustable to suite driver preference.

you can put rear discs on to a drum brake car but i would assume you need to change rear sub-frame section, get some 4/6 pot calipers for the front if your looking to upgrade aftermarket components arn't neccesarily cheaper!

what model is your motor and what brakes have you got?

Cars and girlfriends have alot in common.
They both make you angry+ make you cry, bleed your wallet + moan when they are old.
But at least the car makes sense!

I don't think that m3 parts will be much cheaper..... I do know that the springs will work just fine about a 25mm drop
