When did you get your first BMW?

Well i'm 21 and yesterday I bought my first BMW - a 320i SE in lachs silver with full M-Tech 1 kit and only 80k on the clock. Drove it all the way back from Northampton to Cheltenham - smooth as very pleased.

Got my old black 318i M40 turd when i was 18 in 2000. Loved it, was a bit of a dog let me down a few times rusty arch full of filler etc, but twas a bimmer!

When i was about 15 some gut gave me a 316i with an m20 transplant and an mtec 2 kit plus 15@ bbs wheels. Was an unfinished project. Scrapped it a few months back as my dad was fed up with it in the shed. Got a 318i after my mini, wrote that off. Then got a 316i and now the 318is i drive now.

First BMW was a 320i D reg 4 door in dolhin grey.

Bought it in 1997.

got me first bmw 325i cab ten years ago i was 20 i saved up £8500 for her she was standed and very clean e reg the only promblem was the first owner took it to spain when i got her after one year of british weather she started to go down hill very quick ie , hood ,seals around the doors . now iam driving h reg 325i cab in picture and still love it

i was 15. it was a 1978 manual 733i i restored it was on the road by the time i past my test. insurance was.nt that bad . still got it now . tho it dunt get used as much very heavy on fuel

When I was 37 in 2004. It was a 320i SE from 1989 (F).Been hooked ever since.
The only benefit of getting old is cheap insurance

First one I owned was in 1988...a 2002 LHD shell with wide (Turbo) arches.
Never drove it as I swapped it for a more completely prepped RHD 02 wide-arch shell when the Turbo plans were changed for a NA Ti spec instead.

I was 28, back then!

I was about 20/21 (15 years ago) my dad found a really good 316, theft recovery going for auction with a reserve of £2,000. I intercepted it on the way to the auction paid £2,000 owned it for 8 years did lots of mods and sold it for £2,000 as I needed more power.

Then I bought a TVR S1 but thats another story

My old chap had loads of bmws, e21s, e30s and e28s, fell in love with um as a kid.
I had my first bm in 94 at the age of 19. I was a y reg black e30 323i, decromed on mim alpines, the guy who had it before me had cut the spings, must had been a 60-80mm drop, looked awsome and i loved it but after smashing the sump open on one occasion and sevearly fu@king up the steering and subframe on another the novelty of a slammed bm wore off abit lol£Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£
insurance was £1500 3rd party f&f
did look quality though

26/1/06 with the current 320i project car at the ripe old age of 24, altouugh i can't look it as i get ID checked when i go drinking

First E30 was a B reg 323i cab, got it when i was 20, back in 1991. Thought i was the bees knees driving a BMW convertible

Had it for nearly 5 years, sold it with 168K on the clock, now sadly no longer with us
