Has anyone out there installed smoked front indicator lenses? There seem to be two types available on eBay from Ultimate Lighting:
1) plain smoked plastic (to be used with amber bulbs) and
2) smoked plastic with an orange layer behind it (to be used with white bulbs)
Any preferences? Which option results in a darker look?
TIA

I am also playing with this look as after i smoked my hellas i want to smoke my indicators too! a quick and easy way is to buy a can of tint spray but dont tint the ouside as in my opinion that looks cr@p, instead spray two coats on the inside of the orange lens, this will significantly give the appearance of a dark lens. I am also playing with smokin the rear clights in the same fashion but to spray from the inside requires the lens to be taken off (which reuqires cutting). But back on topic, goto a scrap yard and find a broken lens from any car, use the spray tint and test it out first, you can also use black spray paint but you should check legality.
the picture below is untinted BTW!!
