Hi guys, me again!
I as trying to open the driver door this evening but the lock didn't seem to want to turn, the lock on the passenger door doesn't really seem to work alt all but when I lock th driver door or boot it seems to lock then.

Long and short of it is, is this a problem with the central locking or could the locks be on the way out?
Hope this makes sense!!

Many thanks!

Very icy these past few nights where I live. Could be that your locks are a little seized, try spraying de-icer in there and then lubricate them with some WD40 afterwards. If it isn't the ice then maybe a good old spray of lubricant will ease them up a bit. If they're still tough to open then it must be a lock problem.

Could be the lock barrels are worn. You can get rebuild kits from the $tealers.

Does it lock unlock form the boot ok?

If your bored as opposed to getting new lock barrels, you could just get a remote central locking kit, very easy to install, I did mine in around 3hrs. I just use my boot as a backup.

Taken from the eBay site, for the kit you got
IT WILL ALSO LOCK THE DOORS WHEN IGNITION IS TURNED ON OR WHEN CAR REACHES 5 MPH
Can you switch that off?

Ive actually got the other (cheaper one) but I assume you can switch that function off.(better ask the sellar though, he will know!) Can't really see the point of it,if your being car jacked, you may not even be going 5mph.....
