I am thinking of doing a cam change at some point in the future and was wondering if any of you guys have done this, what parts need to be changed along with the cam and a rough cost of the bits excluding the cam.
also how long would this take to do, is a days work for someone who knows what they are doing?

Days work to remove head, strip, fit new cam, roskers etc and bolt back up mate
parts wise the gaskts, bolts, rockers, eccentrics, spray bar etc etc soon add up
you can swop the cam out without pulling the head but TBH, best done properly and in conjuction with a decoke to get the benifits.
I'll do a keen price for you mate if you're not wanting to DIY this

Basicly i am not looking to have this done for a while yet, mabie early autum or winter as i have a few other mods to do first and also as far as i know the existing cam is in good condition, it will be a performance upgrade.
Just trying to gauge a rough idea of the total cost and wether its worth it, best thing i guess is to speak to you guys in person.
Are you going to Ace on saturday guys?
Ant if i go for this i think ill get you to do the job mainly becuase i am guessing ill need a remap aswell and might aswell get the whole lot done in one go.
Got to see how the dollar situation is aswell lol
Anyways hope to catch up with ya at Ace this weekend, if not mabie the next one at end of the month.
