Hi guys and in particular fellow "ragtop" drivers,

I took my hardtop off last night, first time in six months. Great news, the power hood worked effortlessly, no damp or mould and it didnt look any more crumpled than if it had only been down for an afternoon. I was a bit worried you never know when its been folded away for so long or maybe i'm paranoid.

With that relief behind me I was off, sun on me bonce, wind in me hair and i didnt come home till ten o clock. Driving in the dark with the roof off is as good as being in the sunshine. To think that during february I was thinking of selling this beauty... at the pub i stopped at while I was out a small crowd gathered to admire the car. What a night..fantastic.. roll on the weekend !

Peejay. :D

tell me about it ! Thats why I bought the hard top, then I ended up buying a run around for the Winter so hav'nt been using the Motorsport attall. Thats why in February I thought I might even sell it but after last night i am Sooo glad I didnt. When the weather is good the convertibles are such a thrill.

I know what you mean Peejay

I finally got my car back from Bexley's after another rebuild - at one point i was wondering if it was worth it - i can confirm that it was.

For 2 days running (more then i had last year!) - the roof has been off between 8am - 10pm

Motorways, country roads, night time - just feels great! - and i have had many comments on how clean the car is - inc staff at the local BMW garage!

I also often get people asking me if i want to sell it. I tell them 8k  and they keep quiet after that!

Quaser,

stop frightening everyone and put that hood back up! Your polluting the atmosphere with your bad smell. :D

Only kidding dude, enjoy!

When I was looking for a "project" car i didn't even think of an E30.. All i wanted was a rag top.. and looking at most other ragtops... i realised i would look :gay: apart from in an E30... :D
