Got a problem with the leather sport seats ive just fitted to my car!

On the drivers seat, the upright part is loose on the left hand side.
If i pull the lever to recline it,it twists and goes all loose as if its not catching a ratchet?
Also when in the upright position,i can get hold of the back and pull it up/shake it about?

Has anyone had a similar problem to this?
Easy repair?

I do have a spare passenger sport seat thats works fine that i can rip apart for spares or maybe even just use the full frame, which leads to my last question, are both front seat frames the same/inter changable?

TIA

Both the upper halves of my sports seats were loose and drove me mad with all the sqeaking noises so I fixed them by removing the rear cover (not easy) and tightening the 2 large philips screws just above the pivot point (one was hanging on by a couple of threads !).

No idea about the lever though unless the lever's come loose too :(

Cheers,

Pull the tilt lever cover off first, then tilt the seat forward, right at the bottom are 2 philips screws, whip them out, pull bottom of panel out then push upwards!
