A lot of it is down to $$ and you seem to have unlimited wealth to throw at your cars! I doubt your average zoner has tens of thousands to turn their chariots into one-off specials even if they wanted to.bootyman wrote:If i did anything the Zone liked, i'd have a Tech 1 or Tech 2 coupe with 17" Alpina's or BBS as 99% on here like to play it safe.

datourer i work all week in Italy, then i catch a flight at 4 on a Friday afternoon, land at Heathrow at about 5.30, then i rush off home, shower, then i'm off to work again on the door till the early hours of the morning. I work again Saturday evening and then i'm back again to Italy on Sunday ready to repeat the process. I do this because i like nice things on my car and they cost money, so i sacrifice my social life for it whilst most of the Zone probably go out and socialise so i dont have it easy like most of the Zone thinks mate. I even lost the love of my life cause i was working so hard i hardly ever saw her. It's all a trade off between trying to work and get the things you want or doing enough to pay the bills, then going out with your mates to enjoy yourself

As for it being down to $$..yes in some cases thats true but the $$ still gotta be earned..
We dont just do show cars y'know..everyday we have your average youngster with big dreams coming round that doesnt have the $$ to do everything in one hit..so its little touches that they start off with..A hand made gaitor..handbreak cover..custom gear knob..then onto a hand designed wheel..then fronts..then rears and so on..it takes time but we love customers like this..
It shows dedication and a passion for what they are doing and we are totally supportive of these people..
We all have different ideas as to what we spend our $$ on..
Some choose to piss it up the wall others choose to modify their cars..
Its all about personal choice..
If you work hard play hard whats the harm..
