I will probably (75%) be going for a couple of hours but not sure yet.
I leave Bristol at about 1pm that day so might not have time to go into London as I'm in Birmingham that night for an 18th birthday party, which obviously is more important than standing in a car park for a day
The drive home in that E36 was "amusing" to say the least, what with the indicator falling out, the passenger window getting stuck down, the absence of a fuel cap and finally a hose bursting
I think your definition of "clean" is a bit different to mine

Oooh Oooh is it for me?
Have you tried Karan? Hi Karan!
I'm working in the morning, gonna shoot down to Aces, to pick up this part (if it is for me) and then shoot back to Cambridge for a party!

I'm generally happy with it, though you could've given it a checking over to see what exactly was wrong with it
The mirror glass / viscous / OSF indicator needing reattaching and rewiring (comes on with the front fog switch at the moment!?) / no dash lights / screws for door card / petrol cap / motor for passenger window / bonnet strut are all minor jobs I suppose, though it's money I haven't got at the mo.
Still, not to worry, my fault for expecting too much really - thought it was just tatty paint and interior with everything else being fine.
It goes (without ticking), turns and stops perfect so for the money I can't complain, though I suppose you could've been a little less "optimistic" in the description
Re Dave's diff, I've done some maths and with the time I have available on Saturday it's looking more likely I'll go to Aces, so if Karan can't sort you out then let me know. Not sure if I'm gonna have the flat after Saturday so if you fancy a couple between now and October (that's just made me realise how long my summer is, that fucking rocks
P.S: Re if there's anything you can do - you can get hold of a viscous for me if you're feeling guilty

As I said, I realiseArgos wrote:This is exactly why I don't get involved in selling bangers. It was an E36 for £375 mate. The fact that it even runs is a bonus. Go and look at some £800 examples and they won't be any better! Cheap cars are always bangers, caveat emptor etc.Zayyan wrote:

A new one with no faults is £24'000 by the way.
My expectations were too high is all - still can't complain for the money
It was actually £385 though, with free pint
Still, a little less than £24k.

i want to be there but i have a small fuelling problem at the moment maybe you guys can shed some light on it
what happens is i put the fuel nozzle in the filler neck and pump away as per normal and when the pump reaches about £20's worth the fuel tank proceeds to grow about 20 injectors and pisses the rest of the fuel all over the forecourt

Probably the pipe to the tank? Assuming you've got under the car and seen no holes that is.
