Any pitfalls I may encounter or is it unbolt, off, replacement bolt on and spray?

Dead easy. Remove bumper, plastic wheelarch liners and grills, then loads of small self tappers for the wings, and just four for the valence.
Small countersunk female hex headed one under the outside of the headlamp that may not be immediately obvious.

Get them painted before you fit them mate, should be cheaper and you will get a better job

Make sure the back side of the panels is painted as well. Stonechip should do the job.DanThe wrote:Get them painted before you fit them mate, should be cheaper and you will get a better job
One of my pet annoyances is buying E30s and finding three or four year old genuine front panels on it, which have rusted through because some lazy ba***rd in a body shop didn't paint the back!

Cheers again fellas,
They already are painted
body shop quote - £500
Boomer quote - £75 including painting
Admittedly the panels arn't perfect but hey, it's a rusty old turd anyway and I quite like the hand assembled look
