I'd hazzard a guess at dying it with somesort of dye, or colour it in with a black marker pen?

Funny, I was just looking at my dirty light grey carpet in the touring the other day and wonderin if i could get a black one!!
Anyone know of a place that may be able to make a new carpet set if i gave them the old stuff to copy??
Must be somewhere that will do it for a sensible price!

Hey i have been through this mission as well a few years back, i ended up going to the scrappies and askin them if they had e30 carpets, they showed me an old e30, cant rememba the reg but it had like dark grey carpet so i bought it and cleaned it up and put it in, so i guess the closest you gonna find is dark grey carpet, which looks very similar to black n e way!! good luck

I would have thought with an old bath tub and some dye it could be done, I have an old bath tub do you think if I did a set there would be demand for them? on an exchange basis assuming your carpet is in good condition.
I'd have to come up with some way of heating it up!!! Hmmm big bonfire under a metal bath!

Here in South Africa, our 325iS Evo's came out with Black carpets and headliners
... I'm just gonna dye my carpet when I get 2 that point, and use vinyl spray on the headliner

and everything else is definate black rooflining etc
think the dark grey is the nearest youll get
altho it really does look black unless you start getting picky and looking really close

We could either cover the existing one with Porche black carpet which is what we use in all of our interiors..
Or..we could tailor make you a new one with Wilton..They'd all have leather bound edges..
Failing that..dye the existing one..

I guess it all comes down to whether or not you want the best or not..
We are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either..
If you were to see some of the work we have produced and evenmore so the work we are produing at the moment ready for Max you would see we are value..
We only ever use Porche Carpet and Wilton as its the best..
Same with our leather..we only use Nappa imported straight from germany and genuine alacantara too.
We believe if a jobs worth doing its worth doin right..
We don't use kits..everything is hand made to measure..
But at the end of the day..each to their own and you get what you pay for..
