Hi Made my mounts today cost me £15 to make :D What do you think?

Wow nice work the 335i i bought last winter has the most ugly set of mounts in it. Not near as nice as these.

Impressed.

What position are you mounting the engine in...? Have you got the E28 rad in with an electric fan, or have you got enough room fro the viscous...?

I have a rad from a 635 with a air con fan from a 735 mounted in the front.

I have put the engine as far back as I could using the M3 prop.

So you'll be about position 2/3 then...

Might have to use your photos as a semi-template for the 'welder wielding neighbour' I have when I get my project up and running!

I can make some more but a have a feeling the mounting holes a diffrent on the e28 engines ??

Yea,never thought of that..Tbh not sure i would go for an engine that old regardless of milege..
