stupid question

Hi there is no stupid question forum ,so hope this is the right section, mate has got me what we believe is a genuine first aid kit for an e30, I have a1992 E30 325 convertible, where does the kit go ? thought it was in the boot behind the flap near the aerial ,but this will not fit,so either the kit is wrong or I am trying to fit in the wrong place. thanks

I thought it was the side pockets of the boot?

Mine came with a full first aid kit, it was just sit on the plastic battery area cover. Seems like as good a place as any so I've just left it there, hasn't dislodged itself yet..

mine has one in the build print from bmw when it was new and on my cab it is in the right side of the boot. the liner/carpet is shaped for the warning triangle and has a recess for the first aid kit they both fit like a glove next to each other

Gazza , your right , it looks like it will fit ,only prob is I have cd changer mounted there,(does jump sometimes as it is at corner of car) whaere have others mounted cd changer ?

CD changer fits nicely in the glove box!!! i cut the plastic ECU cover a bit as its a pioneer 12CD changer, but here in Bahrain car crime is fortunately quite low, in UK with a cab i would definately mount it in the boot!!

MINE IS MOUNTED ON THE NEARSIDE IN THE BOOT.I SECURED IT TO THE CARPETLINER ITS VERY STIFF....SECURED WITH SELF TAPPERS THROUGH THE CARPET INTO THOSE LITTLE METAL PANEL CLIPS...THE SAME AS SPEAKER CLIPS AND THEN I COVERED THEM SO AS NOT TO SCRATCH THE INNER WING ..I HAVE SEEN THEM UNDER THE BACK SHELF BUT MY CAB HAS A ELECTRIC ROOF AND BECAUSE OF THIS THERE IS NO SPACE FOR IT
