Think he may have been refering to the fact that its got a facelift back end ,lights etc....bit unusual for a 87'-88' cab....unless its been changed, which i think usually requires a facelift back panel..?
but I am sure someone will come along and correct me ! ! ! ! :D

Your tan leather, are you selling it when the red interior goes in? If so what condition is the driver's seat in?

And yeah it's the facelift rear lights on an E plate cab that are a little odd - though if it had a rear-ender when it was nearly new I suppose these could have been added then.

first thing first, i am coming to the meeting (cant wait). alongside with me will be my cars twin brother, lol my mate has just done his exactly like mines, wheels colour etc, he just aint got a hard top yet.

when i bought this car it was nothing like the way it is now, it was basically dead, so i gave it some life. i changed the front panel to put the mtec 2 kit on, i changed the back panel for the lights, i put smiley lights at the front (now angel eyes), i dropped the leathers in, got rear head rests made, hard top etc

thats why i said its a one off. it has all the top spec.cruise control, heated seats, on board computer, lsd, 6 branch powerflow full sytem, etc etc

i dont really want to sell it as i was going to put a 2.7 alpina supercharged engine in, roughly 280bhp.

but if i get the right money i will let it go and project another one that i have seen for sale, e30 m3

Yep. You have the booty approval on that. The only thing i'd change on that is some wider split rims when you get some money. Maybe BBS Rs's or something similar and it will be complete. I also have to say that this is the 1st cab i've seen where i actually think the car looks better with the hardtop on :D

That's fantastic with the hardtop on. Wow! Black with colour coded top and rims looks wicked.

What's the score with it having an E plate, but the later rear lights...? They didn't appear till H plate onwards... [edit: just read the thread properly!]

made my mind up, 110% im putting the red interior in, your car looks very nice, leathers just stand out, what design are your seats mate, do the stichings go across the seats or down them, mines are going down, i think they are the earlier interior, can someone correct me

Yeah, the stitching on mine goes across the seat. I thought all convertible leather stitching went across the seat but obviously not.

Are they the sports seats that you have with the adjustable knee supports?

E30 M3 and cabs have the horizontal stitching. Normal E30s will have the vertical stitching.

E30BM - have you got your red interior in yet? I think some pics are in order! Incidentally mine will be ready in a few days (black with red interior).....

My cab had horzontal stitching on it's black leather, and it was only a 320i. I was under the impression that ALL cabs had horizontal stitching AND Sports seats as standard. 8)
