that sounds crazy cool. what have you done to the engine, it sounds cammed to me with that lumpy idle. and whats that noise when you let off is that just the exhaust?

Standard cams, its got a lightened M20 flywheel but I think the 'lumpyness' is because that was the first time ive ran it with the air mass meter attatched, so maybe needs some time to settle down

The materials cost me nearly £100, and it took me about 3 hours work not including the fitting (bastard job)
Its not finnished yet either, I want to add some flanges to seperate it into 2 pieces and drop a crossover piece in.

Id do it again for the right price, but its not the sort of job you'd want to be doing as a favour. Dont get me wrong, if I had a workshop with a 2 post lift id say "bring it down Steve, then you can get the beers in" but its no fun on your back mate

I just need to source the rear M52 manifold and a 325i exhaust then I need somebody like yourself who has modded them to fit.

yep, so how did you end up with just one manifold? I ended up paying £50 for my manifolds, left it too late before I started looking and got to the stage where I was desperate so to speak, so payed through the nose.
You can get them from Euro £40 a piece.

I ended up with one because I got it cheap....Like £3 from ECP but they dont do the manifolds anymore

Yes mate, only the rear one needs the chop, so just bring it over at the weekend and you can have a nose round mine at the same time

Cant see why not, its still profit at the end of the day.
If theyre the type with holes for lambda sensors see if he's got some blanking plugs. I paid about £4 for a plug and washer at the dealers

Sorted the 'lumpy' idle, had a bit of an airleak on the intake
Runs great now ive fitted the lambda sensor, and sounds much better
