Ok, what is there to adjust & how do you adjust it?!
My hood's currently a bit of a pain to put down - it doesn't automatically fold correctly. Is there a way to change that?!

Cheers :thumb:

Nope, none of that electric wrongness for me! I'm well aware of how much they suck

It's just that when I fold it back, I have to faff around getting it to fold straight - was better before I swapped the hood (the advantage of the new one being that i can see out of the back!), so I'm hoping I can get it back like that...

I'm guessing here from your description, but are the folding wires present on your 'new' hood?

this description is from memory :D

they are in a black plastic strip on each side, running front to back, and as you fold the hood they force the material to fold in the correct way at the correct points....

did that make any sense?

It did! They are present, but don't seem to do their job properly... Is there anything you can adjust or replace?

Cheers :D

they are elastic straps. they cost about 75 US dollars to replace. shop around online. Best place to look are companies that supply the top itself. Usually, these are extra parts......

Hokay, I'll investigate more at the weekend - I've still got my old hood (which was fine apart from the dead rear window!) so I can just take em off that if they're swappable :) Cheers
