That's pretty wrong.
A respray and some more tasteful wheels and it'd be OK, though you're knocking on the door of 7 grand by that time. Can get a real M3 cab for not much more.
Still, for those who don't do LHD...

I think the point is to have a nice looking, standout cab, not a fake M3.Zayyan wrote:That's pretty wrong.

There are no ///M3 badges on that car, and given how few people actually know that there was an E30, and even fewer know how to spot one, its not trying to be something its not. Its just a nice body kit.
More importantly, the M3 cabs have an ugly arse. The S2 rear lights and the Tech 2 spoiler round off the back far better than the spoilerless and S1 lighted M3.
Furthermore, I would much rather have a smooth 6 cylinder auto in a cab than a peaky high performance manual 4 cylinder. (edit: it seams that cab is a manual unfortunately)
Not really my taste. But for people wondering, this is cheaper :

i actually like that, looks profesionaly (sp) done.
I like it too. It looks like the owner has spent a lot and more importantly paid attention to details. The only thing i'd change is the boot spoiler and some bigger wheels. I'm not really a fan of wheels sticking inside the arches and the rounded Mtech spoiler doesn't suit the boxy shape of the M3 kit. Still that's minor though. I actually thought about that colour for my Msport as well, but i'm not sure it would have worked now although it looks good on this car

ditto about the wheels booty, I've really come round to deep dish wheels.
A nice feck off set of deep dish splitters would give it the finishing touch.
Not convinced about the colour, looks to day glo and cheerful to me, cheapens it a little? Perhaps would look more striking in the flesh, the colour looks good on current models

We could get really picky over this and go on about it not being a real M3 blah, blah, blah - what a terrible colour, yarda, yarda, yarda... late rear lights don't go with M3's, etc. But, with some spacers on the rear (or a wider set of rims) and the front grille spoiler & rear spoiler taken off, it would actually make a really nice summer cruiser.

G westwood is the sucky, sucky master and not the pimp master cause i am. What does he drive?? A crap Jeep. If i had half his dollar i'd have the fattest ride on the road

Wait till my mates E36 cab comes out. His rear tyres are 335's and that's all i'm saying
It makes my car look like a

I find it hard to get excited over an E36. E46 definately, its beautiful. I rate the E30 second, but just can't see the 36 as something special.
They just all look too similar no matter what you do to them, and boring.
That said, the E90 cab is going to make the E36 look brilliant by comparison.

He has spent countless years and a lot of sweat, blood and money to get the car finished. It's a bit like Mfrees story. I think he's missed the boat cause a couple of years ago, it was all about going as wide as you could with a car, but the trend has moved on to old skoll looks with big bhp now. His car has so much fibre glass that it will start braking up like my blue one if he gives it any stick, hits a few pot holes etc, so it will purely be a car to come out oce a week and taken round the block. I have to admit i was looking at E30 M3 Evo cabs before i bought the Msport, but was put off by the too common thing as well

Looks terrible. A new set of wheels'd help, but what it really needs is to get rid of the eyebrows!
Looks damn good really & I like the colour too. It's always hard to tell from pics, but if the bodyworks been done as well as it seems, someone's gonna get a bargain!
The ''bored out 320" bit is a tad worrying though...
