Quick question.... I am considering buying some new rims (as you do)... I know 17x8 will fit OK, but will 17x9 fit the rear arches OK without the need for any work? It's for my '87 M3 with standard suspension.

Depends on how low you are also. I had 9x16 on the back of mine. I reckon it was lowered maybe 20-30mm. 9x17 certainly wouldnt have fitted without work

10s will fit but need arch rolling
mine are 9s at rear on 17 inch rim
no fouling at all with no arch work
all depends on offset
rears on mine are et22

Apologies, I missed the line in your first post that said you had an m3! They should fit no problem I'd imagineianeire wrote:Depends on how low you are also. I had 9x16 on the back of mine. I reckon it was lowered maybe 20-30mm. 9x17 certainly wouldnt have fitted without work
