Had a Vauxhall Astra on the ramp this afternoon for a checkover underneath.
Good grief - what a load a flimsy, poor quality tat. Served to remind me how well designed and built these E30 things are.

What model was it? The GSI's use the same subframe etc as the Cavalier and are very strong. The other ones though I have to admit are pretty dire.

I've been driving about in an R-reg Polo for the last month or so and although it's German, the quality compared to my E30 is appauling. It felt awful to drive, I was so glad I got my E30 back on the road today!

you think that's bad, while i swapped my engine i've been using my sisters 205 1.0 litre which i bought her to learn to drive in for Ԛ£200, it's like a flamin wendy house compared to the e30!

Ive had an Astra GSI an a Honda (japcrap) Prelude but THE E30 is the best !!! (sorry if there's any Honda owners out there)

i was driving dads ka the other day, rubbish basic one so pretty poor to start with, but his is his driving school's one, so that has to be the worse car i have ever drove!
