Finally getting somewhere with the 325i - this weekend saw the return of central locking, and a full service - can't believe the difference it made.
A huge thank you to Smithy318i who sent on the blanking plates for the dash. The car is definitely look less like a scrapyard special inside!
After trying in vain to get the carpets clean - I'm beginning to come to the realisiation that they'll never look factory fresh! Does anyone know if the interior carpets (i.e the whole interior, not just the footmats) are still available, and if so how much they normally cost? Was also wondering if they were ever available in black?? They're for a 4 door car by the way.
Thanks
Ken

Black carpets would be good.
Actually, black rubber with drain holes would be better... carpet seems such an impractical thing to put in a car. How about laminate flooring or tiles?

My missus's heels would damage the laminate flooring, otherwise it'd be a runner

I'm in the same boat with carpets matey.. Bought an e30 cab 2 weeks ago, had serious issues with water in the footwells. Carpet drying out and refitting just wasn't happening...
Looking around now for replacement moulded carpet, you can buy it direct from BMW but the price (for a cabrio anyway) is £300!!
Seems a mission trying to find it in the UK, I've started looking further and if your willing to wait (I think I am), try importing moulded carpet from the states. Try http://www.worlduph.com/, they seem to have every model, costs about £120 + shipping for the whole lot, and loads of colours.
Otherwise I suggest trying places in Germany.
