Im trying to sort out a water leak in my sport. I've been told that it could be my sunroof drains are blocked.
Can anyone tell me where exactly these run and how to unblock them?

The rear ones run down the the sides of the boot where there is a vent flap behind the bumper. Easiest way to clean them is to use some curtain wire (the flexible stuff with a white plastic coating) and simply feed it down the pipe. You won't get it to come out of the end, but you can get a rough idea of how far to go by measuring from the back edge of the sunroof, to the top of the rear screen, and then a line down the rear pillar following a straigh line down to the level of the bumper.

Front ones go down behind the front speakers, so same deal but measure to the bottom of the car.

Was there a link on the old forum to a feature from TBMW regarding water leaks in your boot, etc.?

Can anyone give me the link? or let me know where the old forum has gone for that matter?!!! 8O

Main entry point for water into the boot, except for tinworm related issues, is past the seals of the rear lamp clusters. Remove and seal them in with silicon rubber sealant is the standard cure.
