How do Cabby front wings

and rear arch repair sections differ from those of a 2 door saloon?

Let's say both cars are 1990 cars for argument's sake.

ETK has differing numbers for them, but they look so alike when I have compared one with the other.

Are they interchangeable?

Maybe different part number just so BMW knew which part was what!

But the cab does have thicker sills!

A lot of the Cab's use the pre face-lift shell, the rear arches are a slightly different shape. The front wings are different as Steve said, the sill area is a different shape between the Cab & Saloon.

Try looking at a late Cab on the ETK, you will probably find the rear arches are the same as the saloon.

I haven't got ETK on my PC at the mo, otherwise i might have had a look, I'm supposed to be finishing some work for a college assignment

got the price for front wings from my etk at 258.00...each went to the dealers and was quoted 134.00 each so when i get some money going to get both mine done the are bubbleing at the bottom. was going to get them filled and painted and got qouted 200.00 and with no guarantee that they were not goung to rust through in 12 months ....had both my wheel arch sections replaced last month as far as i know we used saloon repair panels i think they were 23.00 each. they were not bad but had my arch clipped and it was an insurance job so i paid for the other to be done at the same time
