Yes wait for a second hand set

the amount of "bad batches" around from new is scary!

Take no notice,!! whilst i do no what theyre on about, there is a missguided coception that everything BK is shite, i after a recommendation from zoner Msport purchased a set of 18" reps from from "save on tyres" in Exeter a B K Racing dealer , you wont beat their prices anywhere !!!!!, oh & by the way the wheels 10 outa 10.

What's misguided about a wheel that weighs much more than the original article and is much more brittle because of the cheap way they are cast?

Not only do they look dog rough they add masses of unsprung weight and turn your car into a donkey.

Bk Racing? Name one actual racing team that uses the wheels.

I had a set of AP Racing Alpina reps (the ones with the smooth edge) and they were just as bad as BK reps... mind you, saying that, as soon as they went one to someone elses car, they were fine (or so he says!)

Right....

If this post is going to turn into a slanging match about something as trivial as what wheels I think look the best on MY car, I will ask for it to be shut down..

All I wanted to know is where zoners find the best place to buy these wheels, I really don't care about how my car handles at 100mph etc.!!

Thanks.. :)

Do a search on the web for BK racing Alpina replicas if you want new ones, otherwise look about on the Zone or Ebay for second hand items... have you done that? Or did you just post this up before looking for yourself?

Andy's 18" reps look well nice though! 8)

I have a set of alpina reps on my e34 525, i think they are BK's (they look exactly the same as on the e30 convertible above) and they are fine, i went to them from 15 inch bbs's and didnt notice it hugely, absorbs bumps, doesnt wobble, ive done 130 and steady as a rock,

ike everything though theres goos un's and bad un's, but when i buy my e30 325i touring this summer the alpinas are a strong favourite to go on although they are becoming very popular over here,

There's cheap ones on eBay, about £295 without tyres, brand new.
