My car is going in to have the old ones machined out and new ones put in. He's going to machine the existing manifold to the head to get the best fit. Is there any reason why I should get a 6 branch before I can afford it and get him to put this on instead, or is it an easy job at a later stage once I've got new studs?

thanks

No real benifit, unless the old manifold is severly corroded. The gasket is meant to fill any gaps.....

There is a big benefit of adding a 6 branch while your at it. If you can afford it do it.

There are a few second hand ones around and brand new ones available from the Zone Shop.

The noise is worth it alone.
