looks nice si, not sure of the black grill, how much clearance have you got on the front? i would not be able to drive that anywhere, looks very low due to drop in suspension

your zorst needs straigtening, droops down. ps how does it sound compared to the scorpion?

Looking even better Si... not too sure about the black grille either, but it might not look as out of place as it does once you get the smoked headlights in...

Lovely machine. 8) Swap?

Good spot Hap! i will get the pipes taken off and welded in place properly! bloody quicksilver useless twats

Sound? sounds like my old sport now much nicer but with a lumpy idle and a 6 branch growling at the front. I like!

picking up a standard front bumper at Ace too, plus i'm going to get the new front spoiler on and sprayed. I like the tech 2 but it's got to have matching bumpers so i've sold it. And before any dudes ask i think the alpina front spoiler is sold but we shall see!

Thanks for the comments, i think i'm heading the right direction with it

think i will use this thread as my journal!

more changes!

new standard front bumper, and i've finally fitted the xenon/smoked hellas

i'm liking it but i'm still not sure on the black grill so this maybe coming off

Image
Image

i think it's there looks wise so no more changes i think apart from a new bonnet badge! lol and some alpina side stripes of course after it has been sprayed when i find £1500 to do it

i'm waiting on my new front spoiler to get done and too sort the exhaust tail pipes moved and welded into the right place.

Looks fantastic now, love the smoked Hellas and black grilles

Agreed that it's a shame front numberplates are compulsory :(

Did Davetouring not have a "smoked" one? Would improve the front end a little.

Si... now you've got the smoked headlights, the black grille looks fine.

From some angles, it ALMOST looks as good as Kelsons... You going to stripe the side up?

Looks very nice mate. 8)

P.S. One thing though... loose the Alpina 'rep' bonnet badge though!

Thought i'd update this a little! and use it as a bit diary for my facelift tech 1 lookalike

I've replaced the original front spoiler with a brand new one which was sprayed up by dips so no decals on the car.......for now

Car is currently on a SORN now is now in quite a few bits in my garage and on bottle tops! As i'm getting it ready for the body shop when the time comes. I've got the carpet and headlining out searching the car for any hidden body rot surprises! And i'm pleased to say i havn't found any disaster zones and seems to be a pretty good shell for an F reg E30 tbh

Not alot has happened apart from me collecting nice bits to go in it. I've got a pukka full black sport leather interior now with RHR's plus some all black door cards, black headlining. heated seats, cruise control plus a ultra rare climate control heater matrix plus electric window motors and wiring. All i need now is a map light mirror and a minty steering wheel which i might have soon! So that will be the interior done as such.

Some M3 offset control arm bushes are going on this week too.

Here's a few pic's from Gaydon which was the last time i used it! but the wait will worth i have to tell myself!

Alpina's do look special on the road.

That's a nice picture.

Earn some more money, get a big building contract or something - sell your body if anybody will have you and get the C2 on the road.

Good luck.
