Hey all,
Are the front fenders (wings?) for an '88 Touring the same as an '88 coupe/sedan? The online parts catalogue is showing me a different part number even though the diagram looks identical. Is there some subtle difference I'm missing?
(In Canada, it's MUCH more difficult/expensive to order Touring-specific parts.)
TIA

i thought tourings were only available in europe...is yours an import of some kind? because, maybe it's the fact that some wings [fenders] have the indicator and some don't. i only really know about the US but i believe they don't have the indicators, and my reasoning was a touring being (i thought) not available there, it would require wings with indicators...hence different part numbers...

Mine came over to Canada from Germany last summer.
Whether or not there are side marker lights shouldn't affect the fender itself, just the plastic bumper trim. I don't think that side repeater lights (just behind the front wheel arch) would be the reason for a different part number either.
Any other thoughts?

the part numbers would be different for wing without side repeaters, as it would have no hole. I know that Convertible wings are different to Coupe?sedan. always thought tourings were the same. Not sure tho.

that was what i thought...i don't think they would have the same number, if you ordered a wing they wouldn't know which one you wanted and it would be down to you to cut a hole out of your newly-received wing...surely not the case!nav786 wrote:the part numbers would be different for wing without side repeaters, as it would have no hole.
fwiw, we don't have side marker lights (orange lights in the side of the bumper), i actually meant the side repeaters in my first post...

Hmmm. Good point. For some reason the ETK diagrams don't show repeater cutouts on any E30 fenders--Euro or US--hence my confusion.
So here's an easier question: what are the part numbers for left and right fenders WITH repeater cutouts?
Thanks for your help/patience!
