i've run a 13.9 with slipping clutch and tall gearing (5dp OD box and 3.25 diff) top speed is 175+, if i droped it to a 3.64 id go to 13.6 with a good clutch, the plan is to get into the twelves which i think is possible woth another 100hp and the shorter diff.

1/4 mile is 440yards or 402metres ,So 500m times will be slower as you have traveled an extra 98metres

given a few reasonable assumptions about tyre size, a 3.25 final drive will give an actual top speed of over 175mph with a fairly low rev limit.
