Finally got round to de-chroming my 320i over the weekend and ended up giving the inlet manifold a lick of paint too so thought i'd put up a few pics.

hi e30320, your car looks really smart, seeing them pics i am going to have to bye so cotten reel wheels they are great and suit the car well, o well more money. :D . they are cotten reels ?, engine bay looks good to, what did you use thanks?.

You're going to have to get this part sorted, give it a quick rub down and get rid of the corrosion —a Looks good otherwise

they're bk alpina replicas mate 17".i prefer the original 16s but they go for the same sort of money i paid for the car.

i DIY polished the cover by hand mate got all the crap off with a wire brush drill attatchment then worked down from rough th smooth wet n dry then finished it off with wire wool it took a while but worth it in the end.

thats the trouble with cleaning/painting bits of the bay its made the rest look even worse oh well there's another bank holiday weekend coming it.ll give me something to do.

i just masked it up and sprayed it it still need sanding and another coat but will do for now i'm just glad the chrome's gone.i tried to get the actual trim off a mates breaker but i didn't have the patience and totally f#@^ed it :x

which is why mine still has chrome side bits.
nice wheels tho. :D
how much did you give with the tyres?

how much did you give with the tyres?
£190 with all good tyres from ebay (used) and had to drive 40miles to get them i was happy with that.especially as i'd beem driving round on these :puke:

no mate facelift just side window trim so not too hard to do
