Anyone had any problems with there wipers only working on fast, and not self parking?

Went t!ts up about 3-4 months after changing it. (old one made a hell of a noise!)

I've changed the (big black) relay and the wiper stalk already.

I've got a new wiper motor ready to put in, just wondered if it could be anything else before I cheese-grate my knuckles trying to get it out!!

Cheers.

Mine failed intermittent and self parking.

There is a parking disc - a round metal contact and wipers...

Take the motor out (mark position), take the electrical disk cover off
and clean it thoroughly, use new grease, clean the contacts and make
sure they are springy enough, then stick it all back together.

Takes about an hour all being well..

if you've got a spare motor anyway your probably better off swapping the motors then you can clean up the old one in your own time so you still have a spare thats what i did (mine wouldn't work on intermittant) follow the guide to get motor out it saved me alot of time
