pardon my ignorence

hi everybody this might be a dumb question but my 325 cab has 1 ecu under dash on drivers side and it apears to have one other in the glove box i also own a 323 coupe 84 model and it only has one under drivers side none in glove box is this a ecu,a spare ecu,or what it realy has me courious

The one above the glove box (rhd car) is for the ABS system I believe.

oh thanks that makes a lot of sense as my 323 does not have abs terefore no unit in glovebox chears mate
