I've just been playing around on the e30.de site and it makes you realise how far behind in the UK we are on the modding scene. Almost every car on there is nicely styled and running big power. I saw about 5 E30's running M5 plants on about the 1st 10 cars i looked at. I think we need to be a lot more open minded to chopping up BM's and chucking fat lumps in it or we'll fall off the face of the map as far as modding goes. I do realise that cost is a major factor, but hell eat beans and toast and do it or sell your rotten arses i really dont care. I just want you to start chpping up your BM's

Looks like i'm moving to Germany then dont it
Lads if you have no money then get a job at Mc D's or whatever. Just mod your cars

the thing is you'll find more modded bm's in germany as its a german car and has more of a cult following there and more parts readily available.
there are quite a few heavily modded ones on this forum, and good enough to rival the german efforts
look at it this way, if a german was looking at passion ford forum he'd feel the same we do looking at e30.de imo.

hi, i agree to we are well behind, apart from cost, if we all done that there would be origanals cars left, which if you do agree with me its nice to see one untouched like it has just come off the plant line. but them moded up look really great and loads of work go in to them, but not my cup of tea, but each to there own. peter.
320i dolphin grey.
its quality not quantity. as kos said, the e30 is from germany, hence the cult. there are plenty more e30"s over there, hence the number of nicely modifyed ones. but theres also lots of council ones over there. its all proportional.
ive had a look on e30de a few times. there really is some shocking fibreglass monsters on there. but theres also a good few of e30"s that i would love to own.
