Guys, My insurance is up for re-newel soon so im looking for a few decent insurance company's.. il proboably join BMW owners and get a written value down but i need some companys that dont require reciepts etc..

Most of the work ive had done is family or friends so havent got reciepts for anything apart from the usual engine parts etc..

Think ive got problems with this??

although these people specialise in Jap import stuff, they have been very helpful with other owners too.

People with Soarers like me have made massive savings, they can do agreed value & salvage retention policies too.

give them a try and ask for Jay - very very helpful. They will tell you what you need to do. Often people who have done the work to a car by themself get a better premium than a chequebook modder as the attitude taken is that you are more likely to look after your own hard work.

people who have dealt with them have nothing but praise, someone needed to use their breakdown cover and after phoning and asking for recovery etc sky rang back about 20 mins later to check all was OK, just as the wagon was arriving.

Lots of lads who were insured through Adrian Flux have commented how much less the quote was for same if not better cover with lower excess and said the service is waaay better, flux charge you £25 to make alterations to your policy etc.

I got a quote from them for the Soarer, sadly this was about 6 weeks after i took out cover with flux, quote was £150 less for same cover, but with lower excess, only reason i did not swap there n then was because I would get burned from flux for cancelling and would lose a big chunk of premium.

Will defo be renewing with them in December

Soarer is a group 20 car, 4ltr V8, i'm 31, missus named driver 27, £389 fully comp!

would be interested to hear if any zoners do get a better deal when calling for a quote.

With over 10K members on here, it would place us in a good position to blag a deal for zone members if there was interest & consent given by Adam
