Hi all,
Just whipped the dizzy cap off for inspection because the car stops accelerating beyond 4200rpm, bloody thing is cracked and the rotor arm is completely mullered, can't beleive the engine actually runs!
Has anyone used Eurocarparts replacement items and are they ok? Or am I better off going to BMW direct?
Cheers all
Rob

I've used EPS a few times and haven't had any problems. May not last 100+ thousand miles like the BMW ones, but who cares. How much are they from BMW cos theyre not cheap from EPC

Cheers for the offer Steve!!
The dealer finally answered and quoted me nearly double E.C.P price so I've ordered from them now!
It is only a temporary fix because the M30 will go in this summer so life expectancy of the parts isn't vital, just need them to work correctly!

Well EPC ones are £35, which is a bit steep for what it is, especially when an M10 one is like £9.99!

They are sometimes OK, ask for the Bosch or Beru items, they seem to change between them and other cheaper parts now and again.

I got a rotor arm for mine from GSF which was cheap and it was made by BERU which is a very good make.

Its the same in the states...Realoem quotes $111 for the cap $30 for the arm...they are always a good guide to stealer prices
