Has anyone ever replaced the chrome thats all around the doors and windows on an E30?

If so any advice or tips would be good.

Also if anyone has what I need to replace it with that's great!

Cheers

Ive done this, the difference at the end is amazing, one of the best mods you can do to the car. It is quite fiddly, seem to remeber using a screw driver to prize it off and then pulling the chrome strips off. Very hard to take the strips off without bending them badly though.

Did you get the replacement black strips from another car?

Yeah, the replacement bits I got were supplied by another zoner, he obviously had a better method (more patient) of getting the trim off than I did, as the stuff he supplied was very straight.
