What are the solutions to a bit of sunfade on a brilliantred sport? Not too keen on an electric buffer route though. Will a good compound bring back the shine or is a respray the only solution?

the reson you are getting sun fade is the product you are using ie polish/wax etc has got crap uv protection and hence oxidisation is taking place.this is the white you seeianeire wrote:What are the solutions to a bit of sunfade on a brilliantred sport? compounding is nearly always carried out professionally using a mop
very very dangerous act if you have no experience
very easy to burn thru
using a porter cable dual action rotary is idiot proof and will not burn thru due to its offcentre spinning action which allows brilliant heat dispensation
there is totally no need to respray
and there is totally no need to clear coat as long as a very good product is used to proect the paint once prepped and oxidisation removed
there are very few products that give good uv protection
if an inferior product is used it can mean having to top off with more wax/poilsh every other week or so
heres what porter cable with zaino zpc can do
this red paint was mullered
