is there a link for them?
i just bought some DEPO ones, i put them in yesterday morning. billy bolt on style pretty much.
they actually cost £130
but then i got stung for $100 postage and $3 insurance, plus £40 import tax so came to just over a two-er.

I had In.Pro ones on my E32, and they have plastic lenses. One of them took a hit from a stone and cracked, which meant they were pretty stuffed - only fix was a new set...
Not sure if the E30 ones are the same, but, I'm guessing they are.
I did like the light pattern from the lenses though, much better than the standard.

I'm thinking of getting a set of the Depo ones, they seem to be the best out there. Not sure I can justify £200 quite yet though

YOu could always lie on the declaration and value them at less than £45. That should keep Gordon Brown's pie covered hands out of your pocketstonyppe wrote:try american ebay.

yer but i bought the insurance. because i had a vision of them not sending them, and claiming they did, and i would loose my money
they put the ammount to be insured by at $250 so i think they worked the £40 out by that. even tho they stated it was a gift.

yer i know what you mean. i dont personally like the standard bbs rims. but other people do.
also i remember reading about the INPRO ones are plastic? whats that about? the DEPO ones are glass just like the originals were. and they have better projector lenses (than standard) that make the beam go blue sometimes.

i have the depo headlights and all i gotta say is its a worthwhile upgrade. The beam is projected much further than the standard lights, they look nice with the angel rings on, quality of them are pretty good too. I'd recommend them. Best upgrade i've done so far.

there like ho mine are change of bulbs probably, there's 4 bulbs on each ring. They do look better in real life than they do in a picture as they appear a bit yellow.

you could try the surelight ones (in white) they are fairly cheap and i wrote a tech article on DIY smoked lights so that explains how to open the lenses etc. I went for aqua and quite happy as they are unique. some may claim they are chav but i dont give a flying fcuk to be honest
surelight.co.uk
what i like about em is they are invisible during the day, unllike the DEPO and other ones i have seen. they are quite bright at night too.
you can see by day and at night.

do you remember me speaking to you about the surelight ones a while ago?
i was so keen on doing them myself as i like doing stuff to my own car, plus there is a greater satisfaction that you have done it yourself etc.
as u say about chav style, i just feel better driving at night now with better light for the same cheapy bulbs,, the front of the motor looks fresher, and the hard work was done for me. british weather here right now is crazy, it has been snowing the other night and its supposed to be spring

do remember someone on here talking about surelight but was a while ago kind of forget how dark uk roads are, good for me as all roads here are lit so really never use headlights, only sidelights (or angel eyes) and fogs...... lets here the chav commments now please

its completely illegal to go about with fogs on if they r not needed here.
at its annoying the people who drive round with just their sides on, and no fogs. especially the new micras, which look like they have 1 LED for each side light. you cant see them.

yeah used to get pulled in my mini for having the fogs on, had the 2 Cibie Super Oscars on the top and the old Rallye fogs on the bottom, hit the high beam and you would kill oncoming cars (and drain the battery!!)
problem was without the fogs on in the mini you may as well had a couple of tea lights up front!!
as for legallity here...it simply does not exist
i have seen cars with blue side lights, red, green you name it. a bit scary seeing a car with red headlights commin at ya!!

surely there must be some rules. sense would say at least stop people having red front lights as it would look like they were goin backwards. lol

yeah from Bolton, but been out here withfirst with family and now workin for 26 years!!
the police do pull the lads over sometimes but they tend to follow a mellower path over here until something goes wrong. seatbelts are never worn by locals, kids stood on the armrest inbetween driver and passenger, even seen kids sleeping on the rear parcel shelf
driving while texting does not raise an eyebrow etc etc its all down to God anyway!!
that will be why the boat capsized, now its happened everyone has to get boat licenses and insurance etc etc too late for 53 people (and a good frind of mine too)
but to be honest driving here is a pleasure compared to uk, if someone on the motorway going slow.... easy either flash him or undertake him, no one gets stressed road rage is quite rare, if you get cut up you cut someone else up, plus helps that i mainly drive a land cruiser, 2 ton of toyota speaks quite loud
