Just wondering if anyone else has one installed??
The cable that taps into the hand brake wire - is that cct made or broken when the handbrake is on??
Basically, to bypass it, do i need to ground it, or find a 12v feed?
Cheers,
Rob.

Rob,
Should be a Blue/Grey wire that goes to ground when you apply the handbrake.
Ian.

Cheers Ian,
Thought it should go to ground but wanted to check before i connected it up!!
Think I saw on the old zone last week that someone had used the centre panel from a lhd car so the stereo was mounted the other side, to avoid hitting the indicator stalk with the screen.
My question is, do ya reckon it's possible to rotate the one thats there and move the switches/clock, etc around? Anyone know if the wires for them should be long enough??

the std rhd panel won't work the other way round.(take one out and have a look and you'll see why.
the lhd version works fine and the screen won't hit the indicater/obc stalk
and the existing wiring is long enough for the switches but if you have the std clock insted of an obc then there is a wire that needs lengthening
Hope that helps

Sounds like I might need that LHD panel!!
Hopefully i'll have a bit of time for a play around middle of next week and i'll see what conclusion i come to!!
The other alternative is to build it in where the centre airvents are - anything i should know about removing those?? I am assuming the hole left by them will be deep enough for the unit??

erm... no...
although the center vent is more than wide enough, it aint as deep as you might think.
Lots of chopping of vent ducts is required. ( i have these parts too of your interested )
