chrome window trims

can anyone point me in the direction??? i need to replace the chromw strips around the front and back screen on my 325i, should i go for the 'chrome look' if so, where do i get them from??

You will need to go to BMW mate, as all the ones off breakers will be faded to a nice yellow/creamy colour. I recently replaced my faded front and rear window surrounds with the black versions, one of the best mods ive done to the car i rekon.

did you keep the sides chrome tho? where from, expensive?

No the sides are now all black too, you wouldn't believe what a difference it makes, really is worthwhile. I bought my parts secondhand, as the black parts dont fade as badly and it's easy to find some good bits, its just the chrome parts you would need to buy new really. Just look for someone breaking a car and get ti off them cheap.

Front ones come out of their clips no problem, but It's best to swap the rear windows complete.

im not fussed, ill stick with my chrome strips cos im too lazy to change them. plus would they go back alright? would they let water in?
