What parts are in a head set?

Done a search but couldnt turn up much!

What parts are in a head set? ECP list two different ones - are these likely to be as good as original BMW parts?

A complete head set should contain all the gaskets and seals required to rebuild the head. It should include:

Head Gasket
Inlet & Exhaust fanimold gaskets
Valve stem oil seals
Camshaft front seal
Rocker cover gasket
Rocker shaft seals

That's the main stuff, but you may also get sundry other parts like the thermostat housing gaskets and some o-rings for sealing the oil drain tube that runs between the inlet fanimold and the sump.

It's been a while since I messed with one, so can't remember what else. They normally contain pretty much everything you will need. May also come with head bolts but can't be sure on that one.

There's normally two main brands available (Goertz and Elring). I seem to remember the Goertz being the better of the two, but like I said, it's been a while.
