What I heard a couple of years back when I was looking into the H&R nurburgring coilover setup is that the shocks are manufactured by Bilstien to H&R's specs
I don't know if that applies to the cup kits or if its even still relevant to any of their setups

See if you can find any info on the H&R sites

from http://www.eurotuner.com/thehistoryof/36878/
'No other company has the combined experience of spring and shock function like H&R. This is why companies like Bilstein come to us.'

Bilstein go to H&R for advice eh?!
Sure the H&R shocks should be fine then whoever makes them
Cheers,
Robin
