Can you tell me what symptoms you had which led to you realising the donut had gone.

I get a nasty juddr if my car is nice and warm and stuck in traffic. When I try to pull away in first, the judder starts. If I either slip the clutch a little and featehr some revs, or get it into second quickly, it seems ok.

Seems to only occur if the car has been running for some time and I'm then stuck in traffic.

Is this the symptom or is this the clutch plates wearing? Clutch doesn't slip otherwise.

clucth plate getting heat soaked isnt it,know some bms are effected even with a brand new clutch .
my old 36 used to do it

yeah, i would say its clutch related, but not being in the car there i cant be certain,

i did have a similar routine in mine every now and then, but i put it down to thinning clutch plate, possible oil on clutch plate.

every now and then i would get a violent judder on clutching out at lights. was remedied by upping the revs, or clutch smoothing out of gear and then in again. but usually happened only when it was cold. after it had been out for 5 minutes or so , it was totally gone.

and was a bit of a blue moon occurence. did piss me off though when it did happen
