Hello,

I've heard people say it's easy to change the mileage on an instrument cluster....

I've installed the instrument cluster from my other Touring, because my fuel gauge was flickering about.

The new cluster has solved this problem, but the mileage is 70k too high!

I tried practising on the old cluster, but ended up making the digits out of alignment etc.

What is the recommended method?!!

May be better sent as a PM if you don't mind.....?

:D

Just use a small screw driver and click the cogs back, easy!

I tried this, and put all the numbers out of bloody alignment!!

Do I just need to be more careful?

I'll have another practice on my old cluster. :? :)

I found it to work okay after I had to change the cluster on my sport. IIRC, you have to adjust the highest number first (ie far left when looking at it) otherwise the others do go out of line, just keep clicking them round until they look right

Cheer Adam. I'll give it a go.

I guessed you may have to follow some pattern and not move them randomly, but I had no idea what to try!
